Barbara Ann Vaughan Story of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016.

A native of Halifax County, she was the daughter of the late Hazel Hale and James Randolph Vaughan.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Tim Story of Roanoke Rapids; her daughter, Angela Kaye Jones of Rocky Mount; her two sons, Thomas Paul Jones and his wife, Jennifer of Huntersville, NC, and Christopher Leigh Jones of Okinawa, Japan; also her eight grandchildren and her two stepsons, Tracey Story and his wife, Elizabeth of Roanoke Rapids, and Timothy Lloyd Story, II of Nags Head.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.

Interment will be in Cedarwood Cemetery on Monday, October 10, 2016.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 till service time on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Askew Funeral and Cremation Service of Roanoke Rapids, NC.
